The previous Guinness world record for the largest roll of toilet paper was set by Kimberly-Clark Peru with a roll which measured 1.70 m (5 ft 9 in) in diameter by 1.59 m (5 ft 1.4 in) in height and weighed 1,340 kg (2,954 lb 3 oz).
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest toilet roll chain consisted of 92,080 rolls and was created by 's Heeren Loo (Netherlands) at the company's premises in Bedum, Netherlands.
"The roll contains over 1,000,000 square feet of paper and would take approximately 95,000 rolls of Charmin to equal the same amount of paper," said Darrick Johnson, plant manager at the P&G Paper Products Company, located outside of Cape Girardeau, MO.
"We were sad to see it go but excited for its new record-breaking honor."
