Largest picture mosaic: Ansley's attempt sets world record (Video)
DANIEL ISLAND, S.C., USA --With the help of 1,458 people holding large poster boards above their heads for ten minutes at Blackbaud Stadium, Ansley McEvoy now holds the world record for the world's largest picture mosaic formed by people, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

Largest picture mosaic formed by people was organised by the Association Normandie Impressioniste and formed by 1250 people in Rouen (France)
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest photo mosaic; it measures 1360.81m² (14647.58 ft²) and contains 120,000 individual photographs.
The picture in the middle of it all -- was drawn by 5-year-old Ansley McEvoy. Ansley was diagnosed with lymphoma last year, after arriving at the hospital for a stomach ache.
A five-year-old Mt. Pleasant girl's year long battle with cancer is finally over. Ansley McEvoy's last chemotherapy treatment took place early Saturday morning.
To make her day special, more than 1,500 people throughout the Lowcountry got together to celebrate her accomplishment in record breaking style.
A picture that Ansley drew was blown up to be 81' x 108'! Local school children and many other volunteers colored 2'x3' boards, each comprising one of 1,458 pieces that made up the mosaic!
