The Guinness world record for the most cut diamonds set into one ring is 2,525, in the ring "Tsarevna Swan". It was created by the Lobortas Classic Jewelry House (Ukraine) and was presented and measured in Kiev, Ukraine.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest silver ring; it weighs 71.680 kg (158.03 lbs) and has an inner diameter of 85 cn (2 ft 9 in). It consists of 97.83percent pure silver and was created by Amin & Company (Pakistan).
It took a full year to carve the World's First All-Diamond Ring, which has been copyrighted and is expected to sell for $70 million.
"A ring made entirely of a faceted diamond has always seemed like a fantasy," said Mohamed Shawish, president of Geneva-based Shawish Jewellery.
"To create the perfect diamond ring is the epitome of art."
Shawish said it took a year to get the copyright for the design and then the company had to purchase a special laser to cut the diamond into the perfect circle for the band.
