Largest Outdoor Tea Dance-world record
set by Glasgow
GLASGOW, UK -- 220 couples got in step to help
Glasgow smash the world record for the Largest
Outdoor Tea Dance, during the local fest called the"Winterfest
Tea Dance".

and, despite the freezing weather, dancers donned their glad
rags to turn George Square into a 1940s-style dance hall.

After two-hours of dancing to a live swing band,
the record was secured with 220 couples counted.
The previous world record for the largest
outdoor tea dance was set in 2005 when 195 couples
danced in Trafalgar Square London.
